무던히도 오랫동안

편안한 시의 운율로 공명되고 진동되는 작품으로 완성되기를 바랬다. 삶으로부터 고립되지 않는 버드나무처럼 유려한 그림을 원했지만 대다수의 작품들은 복잡한 선들과 여러 겹의 원들로 숨차게 엉켜 있다. 

이것이 사람과 삶에 대한 애정이라 묻는다면 누가 편하게 답할 수 있겠는가.


늘 그런 것은 아니지만

고요함에 얹힌 묘한 리듬들이 논리적이지 않고 이해되지 않는데도 여전히 매료되고 있다는것이 나에게는 참으로 흥미로운 일이다.


For a very longest time,
I have wanted to portray rhythmic poetry that resonates with my viewers and provides them comfort.

Though I wish to create flowing paintings, much like willow trees, a majority of my work still is tightly woven containing complex lines and layers of circles.  I wonder could this be my love of life and people?

Not always but occasionally,
It is truly an interesting mystery why such irrational, implausible chaos still attracts my attention and my creativity.
